The principles below provide the outline of the intent for the volunteers whom serve our military men and women under Truckin 4 Troops.

Never make a promise that you cannot keep.

If given the privileged to serve a wounded veteran, do it with your all and nothing less.

Most importantly, it is never about you – it is always about them.

NATIONAL WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY

Truckin 4 Troops is a proud sponsor and annual supporter of National Wreaths Across America Day, which is a movement to cover all veterans’ grave markers with a Christmas wreath. The observance is designated annually on a Saturday in December by Congress.

Remember. Honor. Teach. This is the mission of Wreaths Across America. By coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and other veterans cemeteries around the country, Wreaths Across America strives to remember our fallen heroes. The day honors those who serve. And it teaches our children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms.

Adopt A Soldier

Adopt A US Soldier is a non-profit organization that seeks volunteers to help show the brave men and women fighting for our freedom that their sacrifices will not go unnoticed. It connects supportive civilians with deployed troops and offers a channel by which to communicate encouragement and express gratitude to those brave men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces.Staffed fully by volunteers, AAUSS has helped thousands of soldiers find friendship, support, and a much loved and needed touch of home.Adopt A US Soldier is active in over 170 countries/ territories/ independent states with thousands of active volunteers supporting our troops by adopting a soldier. It is very easy to do and more rewarding than you can imagine, and you will show a soldier that you support them and cherish your freedom. Independence Fund

The Indy Fund was originally started in 2007 by because of the observations of its founder that neither the Department of Defense nor the Veteran's Administration were sufficiently providing some of the most severely mobility challenged veterans (spinal cord injured, triple and quadruple amputees) with the state of the art wheelchairs that they deserve. Since then the Independence Fund has provided more than $700,000.00 in mobility devices to deserving veterans of the War on Terror.

Their mission is to provide the tools, therapies and guidance that those veterans severely injured in the War on Terror are otherwise not receiving.The wounded veterans who have returned from combat are not the same as they were before they deployed. Some are missing limbs, some have been shot, others have hearing or sight problems, or are experiencing post traumatic stress at extreme levels. They have been in a hospital for long periods of time, away from friends, family and life.

Gary Sinise Foundation

At the Gary Sinise Foundation, they serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. They do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
